Project DogeBack!
The White House has recently announced its intentions to redistribute 20% of the money appropriated from federal services through the Department of Government Efficiency (overseen and carried out by the unelected mega-billionaire, Elon Musk). However, many of us are outraged and concerned by the manner in which these cuts have taken place and the widespread negative impact that the cuts are having on the lives of federal employees and those who benefit from these services. While responsible cuts to government spending is a commendable goal, we want our tax dollars going to these initiatives, and we object to the thoughtless and undemocratic manner in which DOGE is operating.
This website has been created to help those who feel this way respond by rerouting their DOGE dividends back to some of the affected government services. The objective of Project DogeBack is to facilitate the redirection of funds received from the "DOGE refund" back to federal agencies and services negatively impacted by budget reductions.
While most of the agencies affected do not accept direct cash donations, two crucial ones do: National Parks Services and Veterans Affairs. They are listed first. By donating to either agency, you are responding directly to DOGE's actions by putting your DOGE refund right back where it came from and helping to maintain the resources we all rely on.

The second two links are to NGOs that collaborate with affected agencies. Donating your DOGE refund will also support the goals of the affected agencies.
